Watch Dogs For Xbox One & PS4: You’re Going To Get Wet

There is no denying that the next big thing coming across all the gaming consoles is Watch Dogs. This upcoming game will surround a protagonist who is a pro hacker and will offer an open world action-packed gameplay.

Since Watch Dogs will be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Xbox One and PS4, many are wondering on the differences in the game between the platforms. The lead game designer went out and addressed these queries and unfortunately, the answer is yes.

The PC aside, Danny Belanger revealed that the current-gen consoles are somewhat limited in the depth of simulation. Unlike the next-gen consoles, Danny admitted that the game developer had to cut down on some elements for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Watch Dogs.

The biggest known element discarded is with the water detail. Everything in Watch Dog is created down to the very last detail and this really takes a toll on the gaming consoles. As such, the water will just be there and it won’t be as real as everything else.

Aside from the water, Danny revealed that Ubisoft is able to ensure that the Watch Dog maintains the same content across all platforms. Of course, there will be that obvious difference in graphics thanks to the next-gen hardwares.

All in all, Watch Dogs will be an enormous title. Even Danny will be surprised if any player is able to come across a repeated bio and information when playing the game.
