It has been a torture for fans of the Half Life gaming series as they have waited a decade for Half Life 3 to materialize. Normally, when the worst has happened, things will only get better from then. This does not apply for the Half Life community.
Popular online retailer, WebHallen, has posted a product on its website which caused a major buzz in the gaming industry. It is the Xbox One bundled together with Half Life 3.
The post was added 8 days ago. To be precise, it is April the 1st. Obviously it is nothing more than an April fool’s joke from the retailer. On the other hand, the morale among the Half Life fans have reached an all-time low.
Similar to the joke made by Frostbite developers, WebHallen has certainly caused a huge damage to Half Life 3 fans. However, the joke actually acquired wholesome tunes of laughter from the non-Half-Life fans.
The Half Life community are definitely gutted by this but it would have been much better if the joke is on Valve as well. If so, it might just irate Gabe Newell and forces the game developer to announce on Half Life 3. That will definitely stop all the whining that has been plaguing the gaming industry.
