For a while now, the entire Minecraft population has been wondering on if there will be an open-world sandbox game coming to the next-gen consoles. This blurred detail is now cleared up after an announcement was made by Daniel Kaplan.
Monjang’s manager said that Minecraft for the Xbox One is coming. Daniel added that when it comes, the Minecraft world will be much bigger than before. This is not possible on the Xbox 360 version due to the limitations with the hard drive.
The lad further stressed that the game developers are working hard on developing Minecraft for both the Xbox One and PS4.
Daniel concluded his announcement but thanking the fans and revealed that he was shock that Minecraft was able to achieve 12 million copies sold for the Xbox One.
Bottom line is that there is no stopping the Minecraft movement. It is not a one hit wonder and it will continue to grow. Soon, the game will arrive on the next-gen consoles and following that, the PS Vita will get a share of Minecraft madness as well.
