At the end of last year, Chevrolet launched the all-new Colorado and the pickup truck turned out to be a bestseller here in the US. This cannot be helped as the Colorado offers tons of improvements from its predecessor.
For starters, the Colorado features a stylish outlook that single-handedly revived the pickup truck segment which had been dying since the turn of the millennium. Also, the fact that the Colorado is customizable via an online configurator makes it more attractive than ever.
The Colorado is offered with a wide range of powertrain options. The most appealing part is with the pickup truck’s fuel economy. The fact that it is rated to be 3-5mpg better than other vehicles in the segment cemented its success.
Of course, Chevy haters are going to argue that the Colorado has yet to face a real rival. Well, that is bound to happen when Toyota launches the next-gen Hilux and when Ford unleashes something similar. Even so, they cannot argue that the Colorado is now the new standard in the segment.
