As nice as it would be to see a Mazdaspeed 3 and MazdaSpeed 6 right now, we don’t think this is the right time for Mazda to be working on one.
The Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 sales have dropped this year which could mean that people are losing interest in those model. While release the MazdaSpeed models could help bring the models back into the spotlight, we don’t think that it would actually last long enough to bring the sales back up for the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6.
There were also report suggesting that Mazda is currently working to get some of their models into the Premium market and if that is the case, the MazdaSpeed 3 and the MazdaSpeed 6 will definitely not fit into that plan right.
If Mazda does come out with the MazdaSpeed 3 and MazdaSpeed 6 model, we might see them come in with the new 2.5-liter turbo four engine that the Mazda CX-9 is running on right now. So you think now is the right time for these performance model?
