Lexus is going to launch the all new RX350 and RX450 Facelift models later this year. The Facelift SUV is going to offer consumers a new styling, more power and also better fuel economy.
Lexus has already confirmed this and they explained that the goal will be accomplished through the application of aluminium materials on the RX Facelift. Lexus was kind enough to share that the hood, tailgate and closures on the RX Facelift is going to be made of aluminium.
The luxury carmaker added that the application of aluminium will drag the weight of the RX Facelift down and this can only mean well to the vehicle’s performance. With a lighter framework, the RX Facelift will emit more power while also being more fuel efficient at the same time.
Many might fear that aluminium might spoil the durability of the RX Facelift but this won’t be the case. Lexus shared that the aluminium used is engineered in the highest order and it is stronger than conventional metals.
