The iOS has always been better than the Windows Mobile platform. However, when it comes to comparing devices, there are some occasions where the Nokia Lumia is actually superior to the iPhone. We are still pending to receive a brand new Lumia model so to prove this point, we are going to compare the old Lumia 1020 with the Apple iPhone 5S.
The Lumia 1020 features a 4.5” display that runs at 334ppi. The iPhone 5S has a 4” retina display that runs at 326ppi. Not only is the Lumia 1020 bigger but also sharper than the Apple iPhone 5S.
When it comes to performance, the Lumia 1020 is powered by a 2-core 1500MHz processor with 2GB of RAM to offer. The Apple iPhone 5S, on the other hand, runs on the Apple A6 processor with 2GB of RAM. Both devices come with a fixed storage of 32GB. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell which is faster as both devices offer a stutter free experience even when running heavy apps.
The iPhone 5S features a 1.5MP front camera which is sharper than the 1.2MP on the Lumia 1020. However, the latter has a whopping 41MP rear camera that is superior to the 8MP on the iPhone 5S. Furthermore, the Lumia 1020 has support for microSD of up to 64GB.
Certainly, that is enough to name the Lumia 1020 as the winner when going against the iPhone 5S. Unfortunately, however, the platform which the Lumia 1020 runs on is still not as great as the Apple iOS.
