It has long been speculated that Jeep is thinking about coming out with a performance Jeep Grand Cherokee. After speculating for so long, Jeep has finally confirmed that they will be producing a powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat model which will come in with an HEMI engine under the hood.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat will be running on a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine that will be delivering about 707hp. The engine is also used to power up the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. With the HEMI engine, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat will only need 3.5 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
It was initially speculated that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat might have some cooling issue but it looks like Jeep might have already found a way around it. New speculation suggest that Jeep might not just stop at the Jeep Grand Cherokee and that they will be coming out with more Hemi powered Jeep.
