With the release of iOS 7.1 from Apple owners updated and now they are wondering if the Evad3rs will reveal an iOS 7.1 jailbreak.
The Evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak for the iPad, iPhone and iPad was a huge surprise for owners of iOS devices as they had anticipated a long wait ahead of them. The jailbreak arrived on the scene just a few days before the Chistmas holidays and it came out to a great deal of controversy. Things settled down and we have seen tweaks along with themes hit the update section of Cydia.
There were some people who said that the jailbreak had been released too early as Apple would patch it and release iOS 7.1. This happened and now owners have been left wondering if when a new jailbreak will be out. Of course the team behind the jailbreak could be waiting for iOS 8 to come out before they launch a jailbreak.
Recently one of the members Pod2g talked about it and said “For iOS 7.1, I don’t know … there is a big chance the evad3rs won’t focus on it as a team … expect that for iOS 8 :)”
However, he went on to say,
“If one day, I find myself bored and can put enough time and energy into it, I have some ideas for how to make a 7.1 jailbreak … depending on how it has been fixed and other external events.”
So maybe we are not going to see the team reveal a jailbreak for iOS 7 if they are going to work on one for iOS 8. If you own an iOS device with the jailbreak then you may wish to steer clear and not go ahead and make the update to iOS 7.1 just yet.
