The iPhone 5 is the biggest iPhone the world has ever since and following its release, many internet figures have been trolling the future of iPhones to continuously grow in size. It was first thought to be a hilarious joke but it turns out to be the real deal.
The iPhone 6, which is coming this year, is heavily rumoured to be the largest iPhone yet. Such a move from Apple will definitely reel in a handful of Android users. After all, most Android phones are large in size which appeals to the consumers.
It has been worrying for Apple as the number of iPhone users that upgrades from their old iPhones have dropped gradually. This is happening despite of the growing numbers of iPhones sold. Investors analyst, Brian Marshall, confirmed these figures.
The lad added that he expects 14% of iPhone users choose to upgrade to a new phone even though the iPhone 6 is not yet released. With references to the many rumours, Marshall hints that if there will be two iPhone 6 coming out later this year, it might record the best sales figures yet. Of course, this is provided that one of them measures 4.7inch in size whereas the other at 5.5inch.
It is clear that there is a huge demand for larger devices. At the moment, the Samsung Galaxy Note is dominating the phablet market. If Apple were to join in the phablet movement, Marshall predicts $3 in earnings on Appleās shares.
If Apple were to fulfil the rumours on larger screen size, it will be the biggest move yet. After all, the first iPhone only have a 3.5inch screen.
There is also that rumour where the iPhone 6 will have a 6inch screen. However, thinking that Apple will go for something larger than 5 is unrealistic as Apple wish for their devices to be easy in terms of holding them.
