It is really frustrating to be an Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 user right now with Sony still pending to launch the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the devices. Now, users can have something to smile about after Vodafone Australia shared that the update will be ready next week.
In detail, the carrier from Australia revealed that they are already running the soak test for the update and it should be ready for launching next week. When Vodafone rolls out the update, it will be coming to the Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 at the same time.
Vodafone also took the opportunity to share with the world that the update will be on a global scale, starting with Australia. Once the Lollipop update is pushed out in the land down under, Sony will be focusing on other regions.
With that being said, Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 users can now look forward to receiving the update soon. The Android 5.0 updating process should be done and dealt with before April ends.
