The Google Nexus 5 from LG wasn’t quite as popular as it could have been and other handsets such as the HTC One, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Apple iPhone 5S and the Moto X have been more popular. However the Google Nexus 5 does happen to be better than the handsets above.
One of the reasons is down to the fact that Google offer a device that is high end, while at the same time keeping down the cost of the handset. Along with this owners of the Nexus handsets get first dibs at the latest operating systems along with new features. One of these was NFC when it first arrived.
The Google Nexus 5 has been the benchmark for other handsets to follow and of course when it arrived it came with the latest OS Android KiktKat 4.4. This is one of the best Androids to be released as it comes with support for devices with low memory. While it is a lightweight OS, KitKat ensures that handsets are more efficient and it improves productivity.
When the Nexus 5 arrived it came with specs that had been improved and fell in the high end category for handsets. Even so Google still managed to make sure that the device had a low price tag.
MobileBurn put the Google Nexus 5 up against other handsets and they found that the results were satisfying, with the Nexus 5 doing well.
The Nexus 5 is a superb handset but it seems that it’s not one that all people have fallen in love with, you will either like the handset or dislike it on sight.
