Users of the AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are in for some bad news. The bug that has been plaguing your device will look to extend its stay at least until the carrier releases the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The bug has been harassing the Galaxy Note 3 users on the AT&T by disrupting the GPS service. At times of need, a simple network switch or charging can disconnect the GPS automatically. In specific, whenever the device switches from LTE to 4G, it will disconnect the GPS. The same applies when plugging in or plugging out a charger.
Users have been tolerating this for months now and there is still no fix for it. In fact, AT&T Note 3 users now file a petition on change.org to get the fix out. To make matters even worse, AT&T is still selling the malfunctioning Galaxy Note 3 without alerting the customers.
This isn’t the case with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on all the other carriers. As such, it is safe to say neither Samsung nor Google is responsible for this mess.
Nevertheless, the carrier will be looking to send out the KitKat update which will automatically fix the issue. Of course, all of this wouldn’t have happened if AT&T address the issue the moment it was raised.
