Mercedes became the subject of a huge buzz yesterday when it teased on producing its very first pickup truck. The vehicle will be managed by Mercedes’ Van division and it could also end up as a product from Nissan.
According to the rumours, Mercedes-Benz has been getting Nissan to partner with them in the development of the future pickup truck. However, both parties have yet to reach an agreement so as it stands, the Mercedes pickup truck is purely a Mercedes.
On the other hand, if both Mercedes and Nissan managed to come to an agreement, then there is a huge chance for the Mercedes pickup truck to be based on the NP300 Navara. On Nissan’s end, they could use the partnership to produce the 2019 Nissan Frontier.
