Chevrolet has confirmed that the upcoming Camaro will be built on the ATS architecture that was used to develop the Cadillac ATS. The carmaker added that the new platform will enhance the Camaro’s power and fuel efficiency.
Today, we were able to get a rough idea on how the Camaro is going to be like after viewing the new spy shots of the vehicle. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be discussed about the upcoming Camaro due to the test mule being heavily wrapped with camouflage.
Regardless, we were able to make out the structure of the car and it is pretty obvious that the next-gen Camaro is going to be much smaller than before. With a smaller structure, the Camaro is surely going to be lighter and this can only mean well to the performance.
