Many rumours have suggested that Sony is going to close down its mobile department due to poor sales and poor prospects in the future. Well, the rumours are written off as false and this is after Sony made an announcement earlier today.
The tech-giant from Japan revealed that it is currently spending big on a global ad campaign for its future Xperia product and the firm also rubbishes the aforementioned rumour. Sony simply replied that there is no quit in them and the mobile division is here to stay for a long time.
The announcement by Sony came to the relief of each one of their fans after the scare which was raised by the rumour. After all, none can deny that only Sony is able to produce high-quality smartphones on the Android platform
