We are all still waiting for the Chevrolet Bolt to be release to see how it will perform in the market. Although it has not arrived yet, some people are already saying that it might be one of the best-selling EV models in the market.
Green Car Reports took to twitter asking their followers the number of Bolt they think Chevrolet will sell within the first 12 months and it seems like the majority of people think that Chevrolet would be able to sell about 40,000 units if the Chevrolet Bolt when it arrives.
If Chevrolet does manage to hit that number, the Bolt will be the top selling EV in the market. The largest number of single battery electric car sold belong to Nissan and the Nissan Leaf right now when they sold about 30,000 units of the Leaf back in 2014.
With the Bolt expected to come in with a much smaller price tag and a longer range compared to the 2014 Nissan Leaf, we could see why the people would think that the Bolt could flatten the Leaf when it arrives.
