It seems that Mercedes is going all-out with its vehicles later this year as it looks to launch the ultimate luxury SUV, the Mercedes-AMG G65. The vehicle also acts as a response to the Porsche Cayenne and Bentley Bentayga.
The problem here is that all three vehicles above are from European brands and it does puts the question on our car makers. Perhaps, Jeep can work together with Dodge and produce a large Wrangler that will draw its power from a Hellcat powertrain.
Then again, after learning that the AMG G65 is going to feature a 6L twin-turbo V12 with 621hp and 738ft-lbs of torque to offer, it will make the Wrangler Hellcat looks useless and hilarious.
This is really saddening as we Americans are far behind in the luxury market. We can complain about how the AMG G65 is going to be a waste of money but it will still sell like hotcakes when released.
