The Mazda Miata MX-5 has long served the masses as a cheap, no-nonsense roadster that is completed with an amazing performance and design. Now, the Miata MX-5 badge has been refreshed with a brand new model and we can now discuss on the price of the car.
As how it was announced by Mazda earlier today, the all-new MX-5 will be retailing at $24,970. For this fee, consumers will be getting the Sport trim with a 6-speed manual transmission.
While the next-gen Miata MX-5 might cost $1,000 more than the existing model, the upcoming car is going to come with a smaller, lighter and sharper structure. Also, the MX-5 will also be coming in multiple trims – Sport, Club and Touring.
Of course, prices of the higher-level trims are still unannounced yet but we don’t expect the roadster to cost more than $35,000. As for the next-gen Miata MX-5, the roadster will be making its debut later this year.
