Following the release of the 1.08 patch update to GTA 5, fans are now looking forward to the 1.09 update. The latest 1.08 update brought with it the Beach Bum pack which offered new weapons, vehicles and missions.
On the long run this is not enough to satisfy the players. GTA 5 is the most unique GTA game yet as it offered players to perform heist. It was so great that players are looking forward to trying the feature in GTA Online.
As such, fans have been demanding Rockstar to deliver a heist DLC on the next update. However, they want the feature to be tweaked. Perhaps, the game developer could consider adding a ‘plan gone wrong feature. Since players often performs better than the AIs, it will make the heist mission seems easy. With this particular addition, players have to improvise when things go wrong.
Other content suggestions involved a casino. Having a gambling centre in Los Santos will definitely ease the pain of grinding. In fact, with a casino, Rockstar can add in many more min-games like poker and blackjack to take the mind off the players.
Then there is also the apocalypse themed DLCs. With so many Easter eggs revealing aliens in Los Santos, perhaps Rockstar could throw in a major event where an alien invasion will take place. It will be totally random and players have to fend off these little green men as they attempt to survive. Death will only lead to a mission fail.
All of these are great and creative ideas which the game developer can develop on. As a matter of fact, Rockstar once said that they have so many contents lined up for GTA 5 but they are all still unfinished. The future looks bright for the 2013 game of the year and it will definitely last for years to come.
UPDATE: 1.09 update is already out and to the disappointment of the fans, there isn’t any heist features or any of the above. It was merely an update to take out the hackers in a game which is not as efficient as it sounds.
