The Google Nexus 5, developed by LG, didn’t get an overwhelming demand for it. Other devices like the Moto X, HTC One, Note 3 and iPhone 5S are way more popular than Google’s latest smartphone but in reality, the Nexus 5 is better than each of the devices mentioned.
This is due to Google’s ability to produce a high-end device at the cheapest cost possible. In addition to that, Nexus users get the VIP access to all the perks for using the phone. This includes being first to get an Android update as well as experiencing new features that comes with every Nexus smartphone. One great example is with the NFC technology.
The Nexus 5 has maintained the trend where it creates new benchmark for other phones to follow. Instead of it being something with the hardware, Google has gifted it with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. This update is unlike its predecessors as it is able to run on a low-memory smartphone. Even being a lightweight operating system, the KitKat is able to make the device more efficient and improves productivity.
The Nexus 5 is also built with a much improved specs, putting it in the high end device category. In spite of this, Google has certainly nailed it by putting a small price tag on it.
