We do not know if this is real or not but rumors have been suggesting that the Google Pixel will be coming in with the lowest water and dust resistance rating there is and you can bet that the people are not happy about it.
We know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the Apple iPhone 7 both comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating so having the Pixel come with an IP53 rating is far from acceptable.
Many users say that they won’t mind owning a smartphone with low durability but having a low water resistance and dust resistance rating is a deal breaker. While most people will not be jumping in the pool with their phones, most of them would like to know that they phone would survive in that kind of situation.
