GTA 5 hasn’t been on the shelves for very long and already there is talk going around about GTA 6. Of course this has meant that it is wide open for hoaxes about GTA 6 to appear and one of them has gone viral on Twitter.
This image arrived in the form of the hoax along with the quote “Final version of GTA 6 is available.” There was a link but we didn’t bother to click it to see where it would take us or what it would do to our computer.
The image was used back in December when a fan by the name of Patrick Brown created a painting of all the protagonists from GTA in a room at the same time. You can see CJ from San Andreas and Michael from GTA 5 in the painting.
You do have to wonder how such a thing can go viral and be believed by people, but it has and it did. It is quite obviously fake but it is great artwork.
The only thing that you could relate to GTA 6 would be the guy who is walking into the room.
We don’t know who he is at the moment but someone said that it could be Huang Lee from Chinatown wars. So could he be the protagonist for GTA 6?
Those who follow the GTA franchise have laughed the viral off, however it appears that some people were conned.
