Audi showed off their new Audi E-Tron Quattro concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show impressing everybody that was at the show and it looks like Audi is now ready to turn the impressive concept into a production model.
Audi announces that they will be working on a new electric powered model called the Audi Q6. The design of the new Audi Q6 will be heavily based on the Audi e-tron Quattro concept that we saw at the show.
Powering the Audi Q6 model will be set of three electric motors that will be powered by a lithium-ion battery. According to Audi, the engine will be delivering about 500hp and is capable of offering about 311miles of range on a single charge.
Audi also added that the Audi Q6 will be built at their Brussel plant and that the production will be starting in 2018. The Audi Q6 will come in to sit between the Q7 and Q5.
