It is unsure if the hoaxer is downright stupid or is merely trolling the GTA community. Unless you’ve heard, an image has gone viral suggesting that Rockstar has already rolled out GTA 6.
GTA 5 is not even done and dealt with. GTA 6 on the other hand has yet to get so much hype and anticipation. As such, it is impossible for Rockstar to release two GTA titles in quick succession.
The image, which was first spotted on Twitter, came with a quote, “Final version of GTA 6 avaible”. There is link attached to the image and where it leads to is a mystery.
The image used isn’t an original at all. If GTA fans can recall, it is the famous work of Patrick Brown. The fan created the image where every GTA protagonist gathers in an apartment in commemoration of Christmas last year.
On another note, there is a chance for this entire thing to be true. Looking at the image, every GTA enthusiast can tell each and every character except for the guy who had just entered the apartment. Could it be that the mysterious fellow be the protagonist for GTA 6? Some of our readers revealed that it is Huang Lee from Chinatown Wars.
All in all, the viral hoax is certainly a good laugh although there is a chance that some of the GTA fans actually believed it. Who knows?
