The LG Nexus 5 has been the main focus around the net for a long time now. Before its release people who were considering getting a new handset were wondering whether they should go for this one or not as there are numerous Android devices on the market right now. Two of these are the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG G2.
It has been said that the LG Nexus 5 will have specs that are better than those of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG G2.
The LG Nexus 5 was said to come with the full HD display of around 5 inches, the Snapdragon 800 quad core processor at 2.3GHz and 3GB of PDDR memory, these specs were predicted before its release of course.
When it arrived in was offered in 16GB and 32GB, with a base of the LG G2.
When it comes to the LG G2 it is said that it will have a display of 5.2 inches and 424ppi. It was said that it would have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 processor at 2.26GHz along with the Krait 400 CPU and the Adreno 330GPU. The device should have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Rumours said that it would support 4G LTE, a camera of 13MP and this would support videos in HD at 1080p and in 60fps.
When the Samsung Galaxy S4 arrived it became the best-selling handset from Samsung. It has a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with 441ppi and resolution of 1920 x 1080p. It comes in at 130 grams and just 7.9mm. The handset offers the Exynos 5410 Octa 1.6GHz processor, the quad core Cortex A15, quad core A7 and 2GB of RAM. It offered 64GB of storage and it can be boosted to another 64GB.
The camera is able to take video in 1080p at 30fps and it has the Jelly Bean 4.2 OS installed.
Both devices should get updated to Jelly Bean 4.3 and KitKat 4.4. The LG Nexus 5 arrived with KitKat 4.4 installed.
