This Is The Motorola DROID RAZR HD Android 4.4 KitKat Update, Probably

Back in November last year, Motorola promised its users that it will send out the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update to the Droid RAZR HD, RAZR Maxx HD and RAZR M. Ever since then, the phone manufacturer went silent and users of those devices have yet to receive any update.

It is unsure on what Motorola is planning but the fans are growing restless as they look at other rival smartphones getting the update. However, an email suggests that the KitKat roll out is close.

This email from Motorola was sent to selected members of Motorola’s Feedback Network (MFN) to do a test on something. The email wasn’t as specific as how it was when inviting for soak tests. The email further revealed that the invitation is for selected users who have provided a quality feedback in the past.

It was much easier with the other Motorola smartphones like the Moto X and DROID line as they all run near-stock Android. The RAZR line on the other hand was created with Blur efforts which make it much harder to tweak.

It could be due to this that Motorola is having difficulties in developing the KitKat for the RAZR line of phones. As such, the users are called upon to provide their feedback on the matter. Until then, RAZR users will just have to sit tight and be patient.
