Apple might be secretive with its products but not its clients. Despite no official word from the tech-giant, one contract manufacturer from Taiwan is looking to start iPhone 6 production in the second-quarter this year.
The company, Pegatron, have been under contract with Apple for a long time now. It is responsible for the assembling of iPhones and iPads.
The iPhone 6 will be developed in Kunshan, China on the new factory owned by Pegatron. This mega-move to meet global demand requires a bigger space and more manpower. As such, Pegatron will be recruiting many new faces to work in the factory.
Pegatron is not the sole outsourced client from Apple. Hoi Han Precision Industry is also activated to proceed with the iPhone 6’s development.
At the moment, the iPhone 6 release date is still unknown. One thing is for sure and it is that the production for this highly anticipated device will commence in a matter of weeks’ time.
