The Tesla Model S P90D is one of the top EV models in the market and is known for having a mean acceleration. How do you think that Tesla Model S P90D will do when it is forced to face the Nissan GTR?
The guys over at Top Gear decided to put both these models in a drag race to see which of them is the ultimate drag queen. The Tesla Model S P90D will be coming in with a 762bhp engine that is powered by a 90kWh twin electric model that will be offering about 713lb ft of torque. The engine will allow the Tesla Model S 90D to go from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 155mph.
The Nissan GTR, on the other hand, will come with a V6 twin turbo engine that will be offering about 562bhp and 469lb ft of torque. The engine will allow the GT-R to go from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 196mph.
Despite its hp and torque advantage, the Nissan GT-R ended up winning. Would things be different if the Tesla model was the P100D instead of the P90D?
