The Renault Captur is one of the most affordable and famous compact SUVs over at the UK but its popularity don’t look like receding anytime soon. As a matter of fact, the Captur is now more popular than before after Renault introduces a new diesel mill for the crossover.
In detail, Renault launched a new 1.5L dCi engine to the Captur and it offers more power than the existing 1.5L dCi variants. In figures, the dCi motor generates 109hp and 260Nm of torque. This is about 20hp and 40Nm of torque better than the previous 1.5L dCi.
To make things sound more appealing, the new 1.5L diesel motor still comes with the same fuel economy rating as the previous version, which is 76.4mpg on average driving conditions.
As for the performance, the 1.5L dCi-powered Renault can now sprint from 0-62mph in just 11 seconds. There is also a speed limit of 109mph. If you fancy owning the Captur with the new 1.5L dCi, then you should know that the car retails at £17,695.
