Based on what Jeep has planned for the future, some people are saying that the Jeep Cherokee might end up getting squeezed out of the picture.
We were actually pretty happy that Jeep actually decided to kill off both the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Patriot. The killing of those two models will give the Renegade and the Cherokee a little more breathing space but that was not what Jeep had in mind.
They announce that they will be working on a new Jeep model that will work as the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot successor and will come to sit in between the Renegade and the Cherokee.
The Cherokee is already getting a bit too close to the Grand Cherokee and some reports are suggesting that the arriving of the new Compatriot model would ultimately be the death of the Cherokee.
Others think that Jeep will work to give the Cherokee a huge upgrade so that it does not come in the way of the Grand Cherokee. What do you think?
