Let’s face it. Almost every console gamer owns a copy of GTA 5. The game has been released for four months now and it is safe to assume that each and every single one of them have completed the main story line.
On another note, not everybody is subscribed to their console’s internet service. With GTA Online aside, what is left in GTA 5 that is worth playing? To grab some quick no holes-barred fun, players are resulting to cheats when playing GTA 5.
Another thing to consider is the state of the game. GTA 5 has just recovered from a series of hacking. Since the 1.09 update got launched, some of the game’s feature got blocked although most of them are for GTA Online. We did a test on all the cheats and these are the ones that are still working.
Word of caution, do save your game before applying the cheats as it will ban you from trophies.
The cheats are jumbled between Xbox 360 controllers and that of the PS3’s. Simply refer to the following conversion and replace accordingly.
Square = X, Triangle = Y, Circle = B, X = A, R1 = RB, L1 = LB, L2= LT, R2 = RT.
Cheat list:
1. Buzzard Choppper with various weapons
Circle (twice), L1, Circle (three times), L1, L2, R1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle.
2. Clear wanted level
R1 (twice), Circle, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left.
3. Drunk Mode
Y, Right (twice), Left, Right, X, B, Left.
4. Slow-Motion Mode
Y, Left, Right (twice), X, RT, RB. This code can be entered up to four times to increase its effect, and a fifth time to disable it.
5. Spawn Buzzard
B (twice), LB, B (three times), LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y.
6. Change Weather
RT, A, LB (twice), LT (three times), X. Each time the code’s entered, it cycles through thunder, clear, and snowy weather.
7. Flaming Bullets
While playing, quickly press LB, RB, X, RB, Left, RT, RB, Left, X, Right, LB (twice).
8. Explosive Melee Attacks
While playing, quickly hit Right, Left, A, Y, RB, B (three times), LT.
9. Explosive Bullets
While playing the game, rapidly press Right, X, A, Left, RB, RT, Left, Right (twice), LB (three times).
10. Slow-motion Aim
While playing game, rapidly press X, LT, RB, Y, Left, X, LT, Right, A. This code can be entered up to four times to increase the effect, and a fifth time to stop it.
11. Slidey Cars
While playing, quickly press Y, RB (twice), Left, RB, LB, RT, LB.
12. Lower Wanted Level
While playing game, rapidly press RB (twice), B, RT, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left.
13. Raise Wanted Level
While playing the game, rapidly press RB (twice), B, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.
14. Skyfall
While playing, quickly press LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right. This code teleports you into the air without a parachute.
15. Recharge Ability
While playing game, rapidly press A (twice), X, RB, LB, A, Right, Left, A.
16. Faster Swim
While playing the game, quickly hit Left (twice), LB, Right (twice), RT, Left, LT, Right.
17. Faster Run
While playing, quickly press Y, Left, Right (twice), LT, LB, X.
18. Spawn Rapid GT
While playing game, quickly press RT, LB, B, Right, LB, RB, Right, Left, B, RT.
19. Spawn Duster
While playing, quickly hit Right, Left, RB (three times), Left, Y (twice), A, B, LB (twice).
