World Of Tanks Joins The World Cup Hype

The highly successful free-to-play title from Wargaming, World of Tanks, will soon get a World Cup update that will add a new Soccer mode.

The Soccer mode divides players into two teams of three players, all the players will be in T-62A Sport edition tanks that will be granted to all players free of charge and the tank will be taken from the players right after the end of the World Cup. The tank can’t be sold. Soccer mode will take place in the middle of Central Square on the Himmelsdorf map where you will score points through blasting or moving a huge ball into the other team’s net.

You will also get 1,000 free high-explosive rounds that can be used to blast the ball or even blast your opponent to temporarily paralyze them or you can simply ram into them and take the ball away.

The mode will grant its players with extra experience points alongside many valuable rewards. Wargaming still didn’t fully announce the features of the mode but we all know you won’t be able to finesse shot the ball around your opponent’s tank.

Tell us in the comment section below what you think of this mode and if you will be playing it when it comes out.
