Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Gets Special Surprise

Verizon had had just rolled out a small time update for the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it surprised the entire tech world. No, it is not the Android 5.0 Lollipop that has arrived on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Instead, the update adds in support for Samsung’s VR headset. This heavily hints on a fully commercialized VR headset that will arrive in the near future and will be connectible with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Some say that the VR headset is currently being developed by Samsung as a wearable like the smartwatch. At the moment, the details are scarce but the added support simply points it to this possibility.

Of course, the main purpose of the update was to fix the many bugs in the Android OS. With it, Note 4 users will have their issues fixed with security settings, fingerprint scanning, e-mail notifications and Google Drive and Office viewer compatibility.

The update is being pushed out OTA by Verizon and Note 4 users should receive the prompt on their device. Otherwise, they can head down to Settings and Software Update to manually pull out the installation process for their device.
