In a huge game like the GTA 5, there are a lot of hidden features that needs to be discovered. Many players relied on guides and walkthroughs. While there are plenty of them out there, here are the top 5 tips and tricks for the game.
1. Lose the Cops
The police force can be a pain at times. How do you lose them easily? There are two simple ways to do so. First one requires you to mod the colour of your vehicle while the police are far from your tail. Second method is to ride a container truck and hold the right arrow on the D-pad. This will detach the load behind the truck and cause a roadblock.
2. Largest Vehicle
At times, you just want to ride on something big and crush everything. There is a solution. A HVY Dump vehicle is available at Davis Quarry on the north-eastern part of the island. It is probably the slowest vehicle but it is the largest. Everything on the street will look like cockroaches waiting to get crushed.
3. Throw Vulgar
When the traffic annoys you, there is something to express your dis-content. While driving, make sure you are unarmed. Hold the L1/LB button and the character will give the finger to his surroundings.
4. Free Weapon Upgrades
During any mission, head over to Ammu-Nation and purchase all the upgrades you can afford. Once done, kill yourself. The mission will fail. Head back to the weapon store and apply the ‘already paid’ upgrades. Of course the money is returned to you.
5. Vehicle Camera Height
The viewing angles while driving a vehicle can be changed via the select/back button. There is also another way to adjust the height of the camera. It is in the display options on the menu.
