The design of the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is very similar and these are two superb devices, but there can only be one winner, so which is the boss?

Both the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 offers displays that really stand above the crowd. The Note 4 offers the 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display and on the LG this is the 5.5 inch IPS Quantum display boasting the same resolution as the Note.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is tapered glass for the display with a frame of metal and the back comes in a leather look and the LG G4 offers shiny plastic around the display with real leather on the back. However with the G4 you can go for the plastic back if you don’t fancy leather.

The display of the LG G4 is slightly curved and the body is slightly rounded. This means it is easy to hold in the hand. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is more angular. Both devices are offered in the 64GB version and come with 3GB of RAM. The battery in the G4 is 3000mAh and in the Note 4 this is 3200mAh. The Note 4 offers quick charge but the G4 offers the newer processor which is the 64 bit six-core Snapdragon 808. The Note 4 has the 32 bit Qualcomm processor which is the Snapdragon 805.

For performance the LG G4 is slightly ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Both devices offers a 16MP OIS camera and the Samsung camera has HDR, while the LG offers the laser autofocus along with colour spectrum.

Both the LG G4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are superb devices and you are going to have a struggle on your hands to choose between them.
