Sony Xperia Getting Exclusive KitKat 4.4.3 Features

Sony have offered hints to owners of the Xperia about what to expect with the KitKat 4.4.2 update along with 4.4.3 for the Xperia X, SP, T, TX and V. We have heard that some features seen on the Xperia Sirius along with the Z1 and two new UIs, could be coming, along with battery manager and camera modes.

The Sony Sirius interface did get leaked and it brought with it a simple homescreen and the Xperia one. It showed that the icons has changed and there was a new status bar and battery icon.

Jelly Bean 4.3 came with Smart Social apps and new user interface and camera modes. The Sony Xperia Z1, Ultra X and some other handsets in the Z series could have features that have been exclusive to Sirius. It is thought that it could include Background Defouc and Timeshift video.

The Xperia Sirius came with some new sound options along with audio accessory support and high resolution audio USB. It will have S Force audio along with the xLoud engine and Clear Audio.

Owners will be able to customise notifications along with the status bar. It has been difficult for those with My Xperia Themes as they haven’t been able to apply much customisation.

KitKat will also offer the stamina mode, battery improvements and power management, location based Wi-Fi and data queuing in the background.

The Sony Xperia Z is the first to get updated to KitKat and then will follow the Xperia SP, T, TX and V, who could have to wait for a while until they get Android 4.4.3.
