We all know that Kojima’s is the best when it comes to creating horror games which are why a lot of people were surprised when he announced that his next game is not going to be a horror game especially after the kind of response the Silent Hill P.T got.
While we don’t think Silent Hill P.T was the sole reason why Kojima decided not to make another horror game, it definitely played a part. According to Kojima, creating horror games actually scares him and that is why he decided to step away from creating horror games.
He admits that he gets scared easily and added that that might be why he is so good at it. He explains that since he knows what is scary, he can create great horror games that are truly terrifying.
If that is the case, we might never see another horror game from Kojima anymore.
