With the kind of success Samsung has been getting with their new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge, we can see why they would want to focus on that only.
According to Sam Mobile, Samsung might be looking to ditched the standard Samsung design in the future and only focus on the edge screen devices. It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 might come in with only one design option which is the one of the edge display screens.
With so may people loving the edge screen design, we think that most people would probably not mind that the standard model will no longer be offered although some people will probably not be too happy about the fact that there will no longer be a cheaper option now.
Of course, we do not know for sure if Samsung is really planning to ditch the standard flat screen model. More should be reveal next year when we get close to the Galaxy S8 announcement date.
