Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge vs Apple iPhone 6 Plus: Cameras!

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is the latest and most spectacular smartphone in the market today and we have decided to compare the device’s 16MP rear camera with the iPhone 6 Plus 12MP rear shooter.

To make it fair for all, the rear camera of the Galaxy S6 Edge was set to 12MP, identical to that of the iPhone 6. Besides, this also makes it easier for us to compare.

After going through four different lighting conditions, we conclude the contest by naming the S6 Edge as the winner and here’s why.

The S6 Edge basically has much better low-light performance, better resolution, better dynamic range, better bokeh and better video resolution. Heck, we also like how the S6 Edge has little shutter delays which is unusual for an Android smartphone. Regardless, it is a step forward for Samsung.

Then again, there are some elements in which the iPhone 6 Plus is still better than the S6 Edge. The phablet from Apple has the 240p slow-mo feature and the aperture pumps less during video recording. In some contest, both the iPhone 6 Plus and the S6 Edge are on-par like the colour reproduction and rapid focus.

With that being said, the S6 Edge has finally taken point-and-shoot photography to a whole new level. So if cameras are a key criteria for your next smartphone purchase, then you are highly recommended into getting the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
