Even though Samsung has been urging their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to return the smartphone and exchange it with the Samsung Galaxy S7, there are a fair few that wants to keep the Note 7.
Now that the future of the device is so uncertain, what will happen to those still holding on to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7? Will Samsung still work on an Android 7.0 Nougat update for them?
Before the whole exploding episode, Samsung reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which comes running on the Marshmallow will get the Nougat update soon and that it will also be getting the Grace UX with the Nougat update.
We know that Samsung is currently working on the Android 7.0 Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S7 as there have already been reports about the S7 with the Nougat OS getting benchmark at GFXBench.
Based on what is happening to the Note 7 right now, we think that Samsung would rather just forget that it ever exist and focus on their next flagships which is why we think the Note 7 users will not be getting any Nougat update.
