Long before the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 announcement was made, there were rumors about Samsung offering the Note 7 with 6GB of Ram but we all know that that did not happen. Instead of 6GB, we all got 4GB.
Samsung has now confirmed that they will be offering 6GB RAM version of the Note 7 but the powerful device will only be offered in China for now. The 6GB RAM Note 7 will also come with 128GB of internal storage.
According to Samsung, their decision to release the more powerful version in China was to make sure they can match their rival in terms of memory and space. They also added that they will be considering the opinions of the other regions as well which means we might get it in the future.
While it would be nice to have the option to get a more powerful model, is all that memory really necessary?
