Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs S5: Which Is Right For You?

Last year, Samsung launched two great smartphones and they are the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. Both devices have their own unique offerings and it is really difficult to decide on which smartphone to buy. After today, everything is going to get easier as we are going to explore on both the Note 4 and S5 to ease the decision making.

Specs-wise, the difference between the two is really narrow. The S5 is powered by the Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The Note 4, on the other hand, runs on the newer Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Even so, both the S5 and the Note 4 are able to take on every task thrown at them.

Then, there is the screen size difference between the two. Being a phablet, the Note 4 has a 5.7” screen that runs on QHD resolution which sums up 515ppi. Meanwhile, the S5 comes with a 5.1” that runs on 1080p resolution that sums up 432ppi. Here, we can see that the Note 4 is not only bigger but also sharper than the Galaxy S5.

As for the features, the Note 4 comes with the S Pen which offers an added function for productivity. Aside from that, both the Note 4 and S5 are very identical. They offer a fingerprint scanner, a heart rate monitor and battery saving profiles.

With that being said, it is now simpler to make a decision between the two. Consumers looking for a large screen device that is well fitted for work and play can opt for the Note 4. Otherwise, the S5 makes a better choice as it is cheaper and easier to hold on to due to its smaller size.
