Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs LG G2: Korean Wars

The latest LG G2 has proved itself to be an illustrious device. Not only is it able to compete with the heavyweights of 2013, the smartphone was also the base model for the Google Nexus 5. However, does it have what it takes to compete with the much older Samsung Galaxy Note 2?

The first most noticeable difference between the two devices is with the screen size. The Note 2 has a larger 5.55” display that produces 267ppi. This is not as sharp as the 423ppi produced by the G2’s 5.2”.

The G2 is also faster as it runs on the 2.2GHz 4-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The Note 2 runs on the 4-core Exynos 4 processor with ARM Mali 400 and 2GB of RAM.

Even on cameras, the 13MP rear and 2.1MP front shooters on the G2 performs much better than the 8MP rear and 1.9MP front snappers. Both smartphones are able to shoot videos at 1080p.

All in all, the LG G2 is the better device. On top of that, it is also $5 cheaper Note 2.
