Last November saw the arrival of the Android 5.0 Lollipop and now, it looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Lollipop update to its devices.
An anonymous Samsung employee has leaked out an internal email which outlines the company’s plan for the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The insider revealed that the Samsung will be rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5 first before pushing it out to the latest Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge.
After that, Samsung will be launching the update to its mid-tier and older devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Once the Lollipop is all wrapped up for the smartphones, the tech manufacturer will then proceed to rolling out the Lollipop for the tablets.
The update is said to happen before the end of this month. However, Samsung smartphone users shouldn’t get excited just yet as there is no telling on the certainty of the leak. Even if the leak is true, the email is only a plan and plans can change.
