Resident Evil 7: Three Titles Wrapped Into One

Resident Evil is a huge gaming franchise that has been gradually falling down the charts in recent years. This is due to Capcom that has totally changed the series’ genre since Resident Evil 4. Instead of coming up with a horrific second trilogy, the last three titles ended up as a massive action flick.

Now that Resident Evil 6 is well behind us, Capcom is finally opening up to the fans and hope to restore the horror in the series with the future Resident Evil 7. While Capcom shared no word on the matter, a leak screenshot of Resident Evil 7 in production confirmed that it will be the remake of the entire first trilogy.

However, the upcoming title won’t be known as Resident Evil 7. Instead, the screenshot image revealed that the game will be named Resident Evil: Zero. If the remake is to be akin with the original first trilogy, then there is no doubt that it is going to be terrifying.

If the rumours are to be referred to, then Resident Evil 7 is expected to make its debut on January 20 next week. Of course, rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt at best. When Resident Evil 7 gets released, it will certainly debut on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
