Resident Evil 7: Social Networks Spark Buzz

When it comes to Resident Evil 7 Capcom have remained quiet of its development, however don’t be too down hearted as this doesn’t mean that they are not working on the game.

In fact recently we saw the resume of Karen Brackenridge, a costume designer in LA, who put on her resume that she had worked on the game.

NeoGaf told us about this listing on the profile which they said was on LinkedIn. So this does seem to prove that work is underway on the game.

At this moment we don’t know a whole lot about Resident Evil 7, however it’s not unusual for a game to appear on the resume of a developer before announcement of that game, we saw this with Resident Evil 6.

There has been talk about Resident Evil 7 going back to the roots as Resident Evil 6 didn’t go down all that well with gamers. Resident Evil: Revelations did do well though as it went back to having a focus on horror, which is something that fans enjoy.

The series did not stick with the horror/survival plot that we saw in Resident Evil 5. In the last game we didn’t see tank controls, plus static backdrops. Resident Evil 6 brought with it a mixture of action and horror, which did leave fans feeling disjointed.

We for one cannot wait to see the game arrive and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the developer will have gone back to the roots with Resident Evil 7.
