The fans were elated when it was announced that Capcom will be working on a Resident Evil 2 Remake, but there is more good news or bad news depending on how you see it.
Stuart Turner, the Senior Market Director of Capcom UK announced on twitter that instead of a remaster of the game, the fan of the Resident Evil franchise can expect to see a game that will be build from scratch.
On one side, we are happy that Capcom is paying so much attention to the game that is considered one of the best Resident Evil game of the series and that they care about it enough to build it from ground zero once more.
One the other hand, this also means that Capcom will not have their full attention on the next Resident Evil installment, the Resident Evil 7. Some fans are already starting to worry that this will mean that the Resident Evil 7 arrival date will be pushed even further back.
