Pokemon Go: Central & South America Called To Put On Sneakers, Asia Still Waiting

The last release was Hong Kong which was more than a week ago so it is nice to finally see Niantics releasing the Pokemon Go apps in a few other countries.

The latest region to join the Pokemon Go community is South and Central America. Countries that will be able to enjoy the new Pokemon Go app now includes countries like Argentina, Belize,Bolivia,Brazil,Chile,Colombia,Costa Rica,Ecuador, El Salvador,Falkland Islands,French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela.

It is believed that one of the reasons why that region was chosen was because Brazil will be the host for the Olympics this year and Niantics wants to make sure that the game will be up and ready before the Olympic starts.

While they can start hunting down the Pokemon now, fans in Asia are still waiting for the app to be released. Niantics have not made any indication that an Asia release in coming soon but they did say that they are focusing on releasing the app in more countries right now so hopefully the release will happen soon.
