After revealing their new Buddy Pokemon feature, Niantics is now ready to release it. The new patch for the Pokemon Go app for Android and iOS has been released and here is what the new patch will be offering.
The most important feature in the new patch will be the new Buddy Pokemon features. Player scan choose one Pokemon as their Buddy. By walking with the Buddy, they will be able to earn some extra candies for the Pokemon. This is also a good way to train some of the rare Pokemon that you have.
The patch will also fix the issue of players not being able to select the smaller Pokemon on their screen. The issue where eggs will hatch without an animation has also been fixed.
